Flights to Japan
Japan is easily accessible from the UK and continental Europe with over one hundred direct flights every week to four of Japan's 22 International Airports. You will arrive at either Narita (Tokyo), Kansai (Osaka), Nagoya, or Sapporo. All other destinations within Japan can be reached quickly and conveniently using the country's extensive network of rail, bus and domestic air services.
The following table is a guide to airlines offering direct flights to Japan from the UK, The Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt and Finland. Whilst there are no direct flights from Ireland, Norway or Sweden, visitors from these countries can fly to Japan via a number of convenient gateway cities including Paris and Frankfurt.
From South Africa, the most practical option is to fly to Bangkok, Hong Kong or Singapore for a connecting service to Japan. Airlines offering direct flights to Japan from these cities include ANA, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International and United Airlines.
